Uyu Ice Cream x ft. @eaten.with.love
9:23 pmAfter our lunch at Chambar, Victoria (@eaten.with.love) and I made our way down to Uyu Ice cream. Uyu is a popular soft serve place that opened in the summer and with raving reviews, we had to try it for ourselves.
They offer three different flavors each week that are made with organic milk. We had the choice of organic milk, salted caramel, and Banana milk. We decided to share the Organic milk ice cream ($4.75) with a shot of Belgium chocolate ($1.50), and condensed milk drizzle (free). The soft serve was smooth and not too heavy or sweet. I wasn’t a fan of the semi-sweet chocolate shot. It hardens around the ice cream and made it hard to remove around the corners of the cup. The chocolate was also overpowering and masked the flavor of the condensed milk and mild, creamy milk flavor. Besides the hefty price and hollow centre ice cream swirl, we both enjoyed the organic milk flavor and would get it again without the chocolate.
Did you know Uyu means Milk in Korean?
